We provide courses which can be completed 100 % online, some required practical modules which you would complete within your work environment and some need a short practical module in the classroom. If you are new to training or already provide training and need a qualification to enable you to deliver courses in your specialist subject, you can gain the Level 3 Award in Education and Training by attending one of our popular 4 day intensive classroom courses or if you prefer the convenience of online training, you can study and submit your assignments through our Moodle e-learning site.
If you already teaching and want to progress your career, we also offer the Certificate in Education and Training. This course is delivered as distance training, the theory assignments and learning is completed online, with practical teaching modules with observed practice.
Group courses are available nationwide onsite at our premises. Individuals are welcome to join our regular open courses, in Colchester, Essex.

This course is ideal for anyone who already teaches first aid and would like to be able to offer a course that is great fun to teach and extremely popular with individuals who love their pets or those who work with animals.
We also train individuals with experience in working with animals, including veterinary nurses, dog groomers, dog walkers and dog trainers. This qualification is endorsed by Training Qualifications UK an Ofqual regulated Awarding Organisation.

ITG have direct claim status for the BTEC Level 4 Certificate in First Person on Scene (RQF) and are approved to deliver the Level 3 FROS® First Responder on Scene (RQF).
These courses are designed to teach individuals to deliver appropriate care, prior to the arrival of the emergency medical services. Both qualifications will take your first aid knowledge to the next level.
The BTEC Level 4 Extended Certificate in First Person on Scene (RQF) has replaced the FPOS Intermediate qualification and we deliver this qualification as a blended course. You learn the theory and submit your assessments online through the ProTrainings system. The practical units and final assessment are completed in the classroom over 4 days.
The FROS®First Responder on Scene is a Level 3 Certificate and this course is 100% classroom based with assessment on the final day of the course.

If you have a group of six or more delegates that require training, it is often more cost effective for you to have the training delivered at your premises. We send the course materials and one of our professional trainers to you. Choosing to have your training on site often helps to reduce the cost of the course and the travel expenses that are often incurred when sending employees away to courses. Many of the online options we offer are delivered through our Moodle based Virtual Learning Environment, these courses include the teaching, assessing and internal quality assurance, you can learn at your own pace and you will receive full tutor support online. There are many videos, examples and lessons to help to guide you through your course. For those of you learning to teach the first aid subjects the blended modules and instructor preparation course covers a variety of first aid modules which are video based, with quizzes throughout to help you to check your knowledge, these are are delivered through ProTrainings Europe, who are the UK leaders in blended and online first aid training.
When you train to become a first aid trainer with ITG, you will also be qualified to deliver AED Training and Paediatric First Aid to your customers or employees. ITG have always included these additional qualifications as we believe that all first aid trainers should have knowledge that covers all aspects of first aid training. Both the AED and Paediatric First Aid Instructor qualifications are available as stand-alone courses onsite for groups and businesses, if you have more than 6 individuals please ask us for a quote for a course for you.
Our Health and Safety and Food Safety Courses are Level 3 regulated qualifications, we also offer Safeguarding Level 3 and Manual Handling Trainer courses at our facility in Colchester, Essex.
ITG are approved to deliver a range of qualifications through the ELCAS Enhanced Learning Credit Scheme, these are available to all service personnel who qualify, if you would like some advice and guidance on the qualifications available, please let us know.
