Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all training courses, online learning, website use, and services provided by ITG Training which is part of ProTrainings Europe Limited.

By booking a course, enrolling on training, or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and associated policies.

The terms “ITG”, “we”, or “us” refer to the training provider whose registered office is:

The term “you” refers to the booking organisation, delegate, or website user.


2. Prerequisite Requirements

  • All delegates booked onto a course must meet the prerequisite requirements for the qualification being undertaken.

  • It is the responsibility of the booking organisation and/or delegate to ensure that all prerequisites are met prior to attending the course, including required qualifications, experience, or evidence.

  • ITG reserves the right to refuse attendance, with no refund or transfer, if prerequisite requirements are not met.


3. Classroom Training – Deposits

  • All course deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.


4. Cancellation and Transfer Policy (Classroom Training)

More Than 14 Working Days’ Notice

  • You may transfer to a future course date, subject to availability.

  • No refunds will be given.

  • ITG reserves the right to charge a £100 administration fee for re-booking.

Within 14 Days of Course Start

  • A cancellation or transfer fee will apply to offset costs incurred.

  • The transfer fee is £150, subject to availability.

  • No refunds will be issued.


5. Non-Attendance

Failure to attend a course, or any part of a course, without written email notification confirmed by ITG at least 7 days prior to the course start date, will result in:

  • No qualification being issued

  • No transfer being offered

  • No refund being given


6. Exceptional Circumstances and Substitutions

  • Where a delegate is unable to attend for justifiable reasons, ITG may, at its discretion, offer a transfer to a future course, subject to availability.

  • A substitute delegate may attend in place of the original delegate, provided they require the same training. Additional fees may apply.

  • No refunds will be given.


7. Assessment, Re-attendance and Certification

If a delegate does not successfully pass:

  • A First Aid at Work course,

  • A First Aid Instructor course, or

  • Their micro-teach assessment,

and is required to attend again, ITG reserves the right to charge a fee of up to £250 + VAT to cover additional training, assessment, and administration costs.

  • This applies to one second attempt only.

  • If the delegate does not meet the required standards after the second attempt, the course will not be certified, and no further attempts will be offered.


8. Certification

  • All certification remains the property of ITG until all course fees have been paid in full.

  • Certificates will only be issued once all required coursework and assessments have been completed, submitted, and successfully verified.


9. Course Cancellation by ITG

  • In rare circumstances outside ITG’s control, a course may be cancelled.

  • ITG will make every reasonable effort to offer an alternative course date.

  • No refunds will be issued.


10. Online Courses – Payment, Enrolment and Time Limits

  • All online courses must be paid for in full prior to enrolment. Access will not be granted until payment is received and confirmed unless by prior agreement.

  • Once enrolled, delegates have 10 months to complete all required coursework and any practical elements.

  • In exceptional circumstances, and at ITG’s discretion, this period may be extended to a maximum of 12 months from the enrolment date for all courses with the exception of CET which can be extended a further two months.

  • Once this time limit has passed, the Awarding Organisation will not permit certification.

  • The delegate will be required to repurchase and restart the course in full, with no refunds or credits.

    While we will endeavour to remind users it is the responsibility of the delegate or the person booking the course for the delegate to ensure that all course work is completed on time.


11. Payments

  • ITG does not store or process credit or debit card details.

  • All payments are processed securely via approved third-party providers, including PayPal and Stripe.

  • ITG accepts no liability for failures or issues relating to third-party payment providers outside its reasonable control.


12. Website Use

  • Website content is provided for general information only and may be changed without notice.

  • ITG makes no warranties or guarantees regarding accuracy, completeness, or suitability.

  • Any reliance on website content is entirely at your own risk.


13. Intellectual Property

  • All website content, including text, graphics, branding, images, and design, is owned by or licensed to ITG.

  • Reproduction or reuse is prohibited without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.


14. Unauthorised Use and Linking

  • Unauthorised use of this website may result in a claim for damages and/or a criminal offence.

  • You may not link to this website without prior written consent from ITG.


15. External Links

  • Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only.

  • ITG does not endorse and accepts no responsibility for linked content.


16. Data Protection and GDPR

ITG is part of ProTrainings Europe Limited which complies fully with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • Personal data is collected solely for course administration, certification, regulatory compliance, and communication.

  • Data may be shared with Awarding Organisations, regulators, or service providers where required.

  • All data is stored securely and retained only as long as legally necessary.

  • You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to statutory limitations.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
