AED and CPR Instructor Training

For many years ITG has included AED Instructor with our range of first aid instructor courses. It is also available as a stand-alone course for large groups and organisations, both in Colchester at our training centre and on site at your premises for groups and organisations.

It is becoming more common for business to invest in an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) because early use of an AED can be the difference between life and death in case of sudden cardiac arrest.

As the AED becomes more common, there is naturally a rise in demand for training, AED use is now part of all workplace first aid courses. 

We can provide training on a variety of different AED units, which includes checking, using and storing AED units.

Using an AED or Defibrillator is now part of the First Aid at Work Courses so all instructors need to own a trainer and know how to teach delegates on a first aid course how to use one. Getting a defibrillator to a casualty in cardiac arrest greatly increases their chance of survival, due to high profile cases over the last few years, these life-saving devices are becoming more readily available.

Where is this course available?

We hold an open course at our training centre in Colchester, Essex, every month and also provide on-site training for groups of 6-12 people.
