The FAQ Award in Oxygen Therapy Administration is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and understanding required to provide medical oxygen to a patient in line with medical gas administration guidelines. This course covers the benefits of oxgen therapy and when it should and shouldn't be used. It also covers health and safety rules for the use, storage and handling of Oxygen. You will learn how to carry out checks, and administer oxygen at the correct flow rate for non re-breather masks and bag, valve and mask.
